When you first open Ritualry you'll be guided through a short onboarding flow:
Once created, your ritual appears on the Home screen with a Play button.
Every ritual has two versions: Standard (full experience, 1–3 minutes) and Express (core steps only, ~30 seconds). You can toggle between modes on the Ritual Preview screen before starting. Express Mode is perfect for busy days when you want to maintain your streak without the full routine.
Your streak increments each day you complete your ritual at least once. If you miss a day, your streak resets to zero — but there's no guilt mechanics. Your best-ever streak is always saved separately. Streaks are shown on the Home dashboard with your last 7 days of completion markers.
Ritualry schedules local notifications (managed by iOS) at your chosen ritual time on your chosen days. You can also enable Accountability Mode (Premium) which sends a firmer follow-up reminder if you haven't started your ritual by a certain time. To manage reminders, go to Settings → Notifications inside the app, or adjust notification permissions in iOS Settings.
Ritual Remix lets you regenerate or adjust your ritual script after completion. You can make it shorter, kinder, funnier, stricter, or request entirely new steps. Free users have a limited number of remixes per day; Premium users get unlimited remixes. Access it from the Ritual completion screen or the Ritual Preview via Remix.

Free: 1 active ritual, 3 AI generations per day, 3 personality styles (Friendly Coach, Formal Butler, Minimalist), Express & Standard mode, streak tracking, smart reminders, offline templates.
Premium: Up to 7 active rituals, unlimited AI generations and remixes, all 5 personality styles (including Ancient Sage and Deadpan Comedian), Accountability Mode follow-up reminders, and all future premium features. Available as Monthly or Annual (save 33%).
Yes. Ritualry includes built-in offline templates for all categories and styles. If you have no internet connection, the app automatically falls back to these templates when generating a ritual. Your ritual execution, streak tracking, and history all work fully offline.
Yes. On the Home screen, tap your ritual card to open the Ritual Preview. From there you can edit individual steps, change the schedule, switch styles, or delete the ritual entirely.
Go to the History tab to see a log of all completed rituals, your completion rate, and your best streak. You can also view individual session notes if you added them during completion.
No. Your rituals, logs, and streaks are stored locally on your device using SwiftData and never uploaded to any developer-controlled server. When you use AI generation, only the ritual context you enter (category, style, preferences) is sent to generate your script — no personal history or usage data is sent. Ritualry uses a dark aurora design as its signature look. The app is designed primarily for dark mode with a deep space aesthetic and vibrant purple/cyan accents.
